About

I am currently PhD Student at the University of British Columbia with Judith Mank. I am currently studying sex chromosome evolution in the genus Poecilia.
I did my undergraduate degree at the University of Alberta where I did an Honours study with Dr. Erin Bayne.
I did my Masters in Ecology and Evolution at the University of Oslo studying bird song complexity in the pied flycater with Dr. Helene M. Lampe and Dr. Antonieta Labra.

I have broad interests in birds and behaviour, but I am currently focusing onĀ  improving my molecular biology and bioinformatic skills in genomics.
